It’s hard to hear young Mercy describe life without Mary’s Meals. “With no food we would feel bad all of the time” she tells us.
At just eight years old, Mercy is a lively and intelligent girl who doesn’t let her disability get in her way.“I can do everything with one hand, I can work with it, I can write with it” and she proved this tenfold when she borrowed our camera and started taking a few photos of her own!And now that Mary’s Meals are being served in her school? “I can eat Mary’s Meals every day in school. It’s sweet! I really love to eat rice and peas and I can feel happy!” Mercy says.
