"Pilgrims of Hope" Jubilee

What is the “Pilgrims of Hope” Jubilee?

Pope Francis has declared the year 2025 to be a Holy Year of Jubilee for the Catholic Church. The theme for the 2025 Jubilee is “Pilgrims of Hope” – an opportunity to demonstrate the hope that the Christian faith represents to people at a time when there is so much suffering from the impact of war, poverty, climate change, and the lasting effects of the COVID pandemic. The Catholic Church celebrates the tradition of the Jubilee once every 25 years, offering the faithful the opportunity to renew faith through prayer, pilgrimage and acts of charity.

Mary’s Meals and “Pilgrims of Hope”

During this Year of Jubilee, we continue our simple mission to provide hope through serving daily meals to hungry children in their place of education. Mary’s Meals is named after Mary, the mother of Jesus, who brought up her own child in poverty. We consist of, respect, and reach out to people of all faiths and none. In doing so, we invite everyone to be part of our beautiful work, living out the call of Pope Francis in this Jubilee Year.

You can support Mary's Meals during this Jubilee year by donating, volunteering or fundraising! Click the buttons below to find out how.
