Volunteer opportunities

Lending us a hand during your spare time – even if it’s just a few hours a week – is a valuable contribution you can make to our work.

Here are just some of the ways you can help.

If you’d like to know more about volunteering with Mary’s Meals, please contact us.

Become a speaker

Visit schools, groups or organisations to give short presentations about the work of Mary’s Meals. We have a growing network of speakers in the US and would love to welcome more volunteers on board. Full training and support will be given.

To register your interest or find out more about becoming a Mary’s Meal speaker, drop us a line.

Stage a screening of Child 31

Child 31 is a moving and inspirational documentary about the work of Mary’s Meals. If you’d like to stage a screening of the film – either in your living room or somewhere a little larger – please contact us for a screening kit.

Community Ambassador

Spread the word about Mary’s Meals in your community in ways that suit you. Just chatting to your friends and neighbors about our work or by asking them to sign up to our mailing list for regular updates is a great help. You can also distribute our trifold brochures or copies of Child 31 to public places such as local shops, dentist and doctor offices, libraries and hair salons.

Host a fundraising event

Any fundraising event, no matter how small, will make a real and lasting difference to some of the world’s poorest children and their families.

Whether you’re planning to sell cakes, pack bags in your local supermarket, host a fashion show, or get sponsored to do something wacky, we’d love to know about it and send you our fundraising pack. Please drop us a line.
